Totally BS that they have backed out of giving people who brought Medal of Honor the beta access. That's one of the reasons I got that game in the first place.

The more and more bad little decisions they're making with this the less I want to keep my pre-order until everyone's convinced me it's not a console version of BF3 :/ That and the fact they've not shown off and of the vehicle stuff properly which should be one of the main focus points seeing as it's a huge part of the franchise. The player ran BF 3 blog reported some interesting news a few days ago. With the announcement that Origin would be required to play any PC copy of Battlefield 3, I think fan's patience might be getting a little thin. The new information that has the ire of some is twofold. First, you will only have one soldier profile per Origin account. Not a huge deal to me as I've gotten used to it thanks to the Bro-dern Warfare era. Second, your solider name is specifically linked to your Origin account. Which means if your Origin account is named BillyBobFarkMan, that's going to be your soldier name as well. Quite a twist from the olden days of Battlefield when you could change your name at the drop of a hat. The fact you have to use Origin in the first place is bad enough too

That blows! One of the reasons I ordered Medal of Honor was also for the BF3 beta :/

From playing in the Alpha I can say with pretty good certainty the game is not a console port.
