The =SWF= Spartan War Fighters organization with assistance from BattleTracker.com would like to inform you that the BF2 Patch v1.50 is being made available on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 1700 hrs UTC/GMT (1300 hrs Eastern time)!
The 1.50 Update will include not only the Operation Blue Pearl and Highway Tampa maps as part of the patch install, but it will also include the Euro Force and Armored Fury expansions for free to all BF2 players. This will allow all =SWF= Members to fight on an extend list of maps which include the Great Wall, Taraba Quarry, Operation Smoke Screen, Midnight Sun, Operation Harvest and Operation Road Rage.

Well it's not like it's taken them long.... tho widescreen support and more than 2gb ram is always welcome!

I got it from FileShack yesterday and actually went 2.1MB/s even though it's meant to be capped as an unregistered user  Decided to reinstall BF2 for the patch just yesterday, only had a quick go so far though... been a long time.

I had a 5 minute run around on the new Operation Blue Pearl or whatever it's called, seemed cool, bit like a Chinese version of Karkand.
