Its upon us folks, great popularity in the UK so lets get fragging! Anyone already part of the Closed Beta?

Ive been part of the closed beta,its pretty dam good, but then ive always liked ruthless fragging, lol

What is this? maybe it just me been in a box for a while but I have never hear of it before. and that site gives no clues.

It's a slightly redone Quake 3 that plays through a browser with tournaments and will include some of the popular mods as well. I've got the beta too. There'll be cash up for grabs as well.

There's also achievements as is the norm now, plus matched games by skill etc.

Mani I'd offer to help but it looks like you already have a few long term members that would be willing. I for one would be grateful if you could post something about QL open beta though. In fact, to save you time.

Yesterday ID announced that Quake Live, the free web based version of Quake 3 will be moved into Open Beta on Tuesday the 24th of February. The game is already seeing a large amount of activity after a lengthly Closed Beta and ID expects a sharp increase in players over the coming weeks. ID plan to release a steady stream of updates and free content as well as extra features and a Premium Service for those that wish to host private servers.

Something like that? If you need a logo you can find a large one on wiki.

I hugely need extra news posters so yes any help would be appreciated.
