Mine came yesterday, it's great fun. My only gripe is you die a bit quick but I suppose I'll get used to that.

Am i the only one that thinks this game is over rated? Looks nice and all but kinda getting bored after 2 hours in.

been playing some MP, my only gripe with the game sofar is that the MP maps are all too small.
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.
Issue the orders Sir, and I will storm Hell. |

Been playing multiplayer all the time and not tried singleplayer myself. Graphically it's stunning and runs perfectly with everything maxed out. The main things I don't like are that there's no recoil on anything but the sniper rifles really, which means you get people running around with machine guns that should really have been made so that you have to go prone for full accuracy. Snipers have a harder job as they're less effective when mobile but at range can be outdone by all the other guns as you have to control your breathing before taking the perfect shot, the guille suit rocks though and grass shows at full depth even in low graphic settings so people can't see you by lowering their detail. Gun unlocks and all the perks are really good, I've got my guy set up with the perks to be invisible on radar and silencer on my mp5 for killing silently  I agree with Maz too though, the maps are way too small especially as they're designed for about 16 players and most servers run near to 30 players on them.

Oh and Hardcore mode is the only one worth playing, otherwise you get that stupid Killcam all the time. Who wants to spend a a few minutes sneaking around behind the enemy team and getting a perfect sniping position to make one kill and have the enemy have a replay of where you were sat as you made the shot, letting mr-noobie come bounding back up to you again the moment he spawns and fire volleys of grenades in your direction Other than that I like the multiplayer side of it, especially the ranking stuff, I just hope they release some bigger maps and do something to stop the running around with heavy weapons

CoD has always been better than CS in my opinion, many CS players might prefer CoD4 tbh.

It is better than CS by miles, but it still has problems that annoy me in MP at least.

I still like CS's simplicity yet huge learning curve myself. The multiplayer in CoD4 did seem fun, but nothing revolutionary (IMO) like CS was.

have to admit, COD4 multiplayer, im hooked, cant get enough, played like 10 hours solid new years day  single player is really good too but since trying multiplayer cant get off to finish it, bit quicker than CSS, and CS is still my 1st love the unlocks and perks are great, gives you real insentive to play more to get promoted and complete the challenges, not sure what it will be like once they are all unlocked and promoted to level 55, wont be long, im level 43 now kill cam is a bit pap as said above, but i dont really use sniper rifle much, M4 carbine or G3 all the way, i have Perk overkill where u can carry to primary weapons cant wait to get in tonight and play MP for 5 hours, wifey is out tonight yahoooooo
