Nice 40v40 maps, hope its true, as much as i like 2142, I prefer the modern day stuff.

Indeed, for me it's just that 2142 is a better game and more balanced towards infantry squads, it's not the setting as such.

yeh thats exactly how i feel, the polished and well balanced 2142 gameplay in a modern day setting would be very cool, although i prefer the medic tied in with the assault class and not sure about using an engine developed for consoles ?

if you want infantry combat go and play the (now very polished) PRM mod for bf2. I for one won't be buying another battlefield game after what they did to BF2 in it's short lifespan. BF2142 never did it for me, I hated the colours of it and the tight spam friendly maps instead of the open maps of BF2. PRM for me all the way for squad based gameplay.

If the game is good I might buy it , TBH I share Grants views on EA hence not buying 2142 .

I own bf2142, It's dull and brown and grey and full of maps that you can just stand in a corner throwing grenades down corridors to get kills

Craig , mate I am just making a point with BF2142 especially when there where more appealing games for me to spend my cash on such as Stalker , VT tennis 3 , Resistance fall of man & motor storm .
