OMG how shit is the fps on this game?

If i have every thing on full at 2x4x by 1600 (cant rember the exact res) I get <50fps

even with AA/AF turned of and running at 1920x1080 i still only get 60+fps

what kind of PC do i need to play this?

Stan m8 I think your right about the repetitive bit but this is one game where the fun will be derived from having a monster group of us all on a server ripping it up .
I am so tempted by QW:ET but me thinks its going to another Star Wars Battle front & buzz for a while before loosing its fan base to the like of Crysis or UR3.

I'm not a fan of ET:QW, poor mans Battlefield 2 in the Quake universe tbh. Don't get me wrong its ok but I'm not going to be spending loads of time on it.

TF2 is a fun for a few half hour session a week and I'll most likely carry on playing it for quite some time in such fashion, and Re0, wtf? Runs great for me a 1680*1050 with AA and AF through the roof.

Yep I run it at 1900 by 1200 everything max, 16x af and it runs perfectly with the lowest fps I have seen at around 80.
And abs you should ALWAYS run stuff in your monitors native res or it looks like blurry out of focus shite Oh and abs make sure you have the latest drivers for your mobo, sound card, graphics card, latest windows update, etc
How I stopped mine from crashing on bootup was to run it in a window, then when it gets into the menu to set it to full screen.

this game seems to caught on well 88 posts and countin im fookin gutted that i dont even get time to even think about gettin my pc salvaged to try a game like this, but im skinto and christmas is fast approachin so even less playin time, I really wanna try this aswell

here's a little tip that I didn't know about to make the textures look a lot sharper on objects in TF2. It doesn't seem to have a performance hit either. Copy this

has anyone played this on Xbox?

Im tryin to talk my mate into gettin it for the PC and it seems the easiest way he could try b4 he buys is by renting it, but this is only of course available to rent on Xbox

you may've heard that new achievements, maps, and unlockable items are on the way. The first map, Goldrush, introduces a new game mode. The BLU team must escort a high-tech mining cart through a series of checkpoints to the RED base within a time limit. The more BLU players near the cart, the faster the cart moves. The cart stops if any RED team member is in the vicinity. We're balancing the map now; look for it within the month.
