There seems to be a problem with the manufacture of the Xbox 360 version of UbiSoft's Rainbow 6 Las Vegas, specifically disks that seem to develop cracks. I have personally experienced the problem and can confirm it's not an isolated incident.

When I phoned the retailer I purchased the game from earlier today, they already knew about the issue and had taken a number of calls regarding the problem, I believe they are now issuing replacement copies to anyone experiencing this bizarre problem.

I am unsure how wide spread the problem is, nor whether it affects solely the U.K. or is worldwide. Have any of you experienced this problem?

Retailers seem to be aware and are providing replacements so don't worry too much.

Granted I've not had a massive amount of gametime on my vegas copy, but I just went and had a quick check as to whether it was showing any similar symptoms your copy did pre crack. Thankfully there are no apparent small lines visable.

If it helps I bought mine the weekend of release from HMV in Grimsby.
