I have BT broudband and i can DL and play with out lag, Infact... I recall having WoW up on both my screens with out any for of lag. (this is on 1 PC ofc )

as for BF2 - i could never get into it... Tryed flyin' a get and i crashed within' seconds.... and tanks scare me :S

that BF2014... or whatever its called ...is my next target.

Nope i uninstalled it.
Was good and I got some great times out of it, but there was too much frustration for me in the end. I still love team-based FPS though, the next decent one that comes along I'm all for playing

mate ive always wanted it and still do - but with poor internet connections + finding a localy based clan (which was a total waste of time) and lack of time over xmas i really havnt had the time.

I love Bf franchise and have been hooked on it since i found it in Australia and played 1942 - Vietnam was gash altough the Jeep Jukebox was good

There it seems is always a reason to keep me playin Bf2 as in always a few hours away from rankin up or gettin an expert badge - its addictive.. Even with all the flack it gets i love bf2

i tried 2142 and hated it !....i need to give a look at project reality...sounds interesting !
i also tried "oint of existence",.....not bad....but pretty hard to find EU servers with good ping :/

yeah you defenitely need project reality it makes normal battlefield 2 feel crap. The teamwork is miles better, the sounds, maps and tensity of the games is in a different league to vanilla bf2 and it's in a state of feeling like a finished mod with no lag and server crashes like in the early versions.

i hate the dam request a pack thing - i was playin for a few hours and killed hardly anyone - as i could never make rally points - spent half my time running..

PRM is nowhere near as good as bf2. By tensity you mean boring.

It's a 100 times more fun with the firefights, you have to hold positions and provide cover much more for teammates. Plus squads without a balanced group of players will be far far more succesful than a squad of just medics. Play on Thor's server. It's easily the best map rotation Shag and the best players. Everyone's always on mic working together which is miles more fun than normal BF2 running around solo as a medic.
