i know this is going toi sound like a really noobish question but can you get new graphics cards for laptops. i know you can for pcs but i was just wondering

Most of the time the GFX card is on the motherboard in a laptop so I'd think not.
I think some companies are planning laptop designs which can though, but not yet.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

sorry for asking so many questions but i have been looking at a new laptop and these are the specs:

i know that this probably wont be able to run crysis but is it a decent notebook and will it be able to run other newish games that are oput for the pc.

Laptops are not built for gaming and unless you spend a small fortune on one, they are not going to run todays games at high settings, even 3k laptops won't come close to a desktop pc for performance.

might make more sense to build a cheap ish gaming rig and keep your current laptop
