Shag its supper good get it played I loved it until i hit the gaping big bugs on the second half of the game, then it was a case of finish a level as fast as i could before i hit a glitch and had to start from scratch. Like falling though the hanger deck on the last fight! i must have died 30+ time falling into the water/ lower decks , but even with there mostorus bug it was still one of the best games of the year

i know that everything else on my laptop is good enough to play it reasonably well.

i was just seeing if any one knew wether it would be good enough. Yeah, CPU is fine (as you can see in the recommended specs post on this topic). Your main concern, especially with it being a laptop, is the graphics card. Only way you'll know is by trying it.

I'd suggest it's probably NOT good enough to be perfectly honest. Crysis will probably run like a slide show.

Some say this game isn't selling well and that my friends is very easy to believe. First you need a great computer to play it but even if you do have one you still won't want to play it because it won't be able to max the game. I have a 6000 dual core with an 88800GT with 3gb of ram. I played it on 1280x768 all medium and there were levels where you just couldn't get a decent fps. Of course i still tried to max the game to see how it would look so I went 1680x1050 and very high and checked it. The game was unplayable of course and it looked better but NOT GREAT! Why? Simply because there are just too many objects on the screen with all those trees and such and it all looks faulty and the way to fix it is only by going to very high resolutions, 1920x1080 might not even be enough. I've seen some really high resolution screenshots on the web (3840x2400,4200x2690 and 5120x3200) and those indeed looked great go have a look. Now after anyone sees what the game can look like it's impossible to play it at any inferior quality but I ask you, when will we have enough hardware power to max a game like that? Years!

Maybe 2 years It's still a good game though, even if played at lower resolutions.
