the Bf1942 version was ok, the best mods are the vietnam one in the making for bf2. That'll own if it's anything like the bf1942 mod before it.

Forgotten hope was just some minor changes to the original bf1942 game imo.

Eve of Destruction


This mod was in the same league as Desert Combat was for bf1942. It was everything that Battlefield Vietnam should have been but for free. If the remake for BF2 is half as good it'll rock.

Aye played that a bit myself, was only let down by a few dreadful maps.

Also down loaded Airmaps & had some fun with the maps its a nice change .

10 hours & 2 gig later I find out the mofo mod is for BF1942 ... no wonder my Mrs. calls me Mole-Eyes

They are making a FG for BF2 i think, or maybe they are porting it over to 2142. But anyways its still in progress, not finished. lol spit
