oh im not anti scripting as such, it's used loads ofc, and often in a good way, however good scripting shouldn't be so damn obvious or so easily breakable if you happen to not do things quite as intended.

Yeah, alot of the time i'd shine my flashlight into a dark spot and find a imp or soldier just standing there waiting for me to 'trigger' it.
