Na more for the team play or if am a sniper solo (no use for the team anyway a sniper)

Snipers are stupidly useful now, just spam claymores everywhere and get about 50 kills while you go downstairs and eat your dinner.

Spamming won't be abot for long, but now claymores don't tk, they are a much better balanced and useful class. Same for engineers.

If I understand your confusion about ranking up, ie from Master Sergeant to First Sergeant, or Master Gunnery Sergeant to Sergeant Major,you have to have all the needed badges prior to attaining the point level required. You don't get the promotion after you get the points, then the badges. I know because the same thing happened to me when I was promoted to Master Sergeant. I was only missing the explosives badge. So nothing you can do except make sure you have all the needed badges for the next 'rank up' prior to achieving the point level for the next promotion.

I agree about the explosives thing being insane. 2 guys now can effectiviely defend the TV station on Sharaqui Pennisula. 1 Sniper and 1 support. The only way we took it over was to have a couple of guys spawn in on our team lead (me ) who was flying the helo and parachuting down on top of the roof and running down the stair. Nading the hell out of them. This still took a bit because the claymore stay around longer, and they were spawning in on each other. Hurray for my team! ... lol.. but the 2 guys racked up huge points... boooooo!
