How We Score Games
Every item we review is extensively tested by a real gamer for at least twenty hours of gaming or until completion - whichever comes first. This may lead to our reviews being a little slower than others, but does hopefully mean each titles gets a fair crack of the whip. Wherever possible games are reviewed by a person who is at least a fan of the genre in which the game in question belongs.
We score everything we review on a sliding scale from 0 to 10 in increments of 0.5, the score explanations below do relate to games but are also relevant for the gaming hardware we cover from time to time.
| Score | What it means |
| 0 | It runs and that's it's only positive trait. |
| 1 | Absolutley dire. |
| 2 | Terrible, avoid this one. |
| 3 | Has very little merit, purchase at your own risk! |
| 4 | Below average, think twice before buying. |
| 5 | Distinctly Average. |
| 6 | Worth a try if you're a fan of the genre. |
| 7 | Pretty good. |
| 8 | Very good. |
| 9 | Excellent, recommended. |
| 10 | Perfect! Which is not likely. |
