Battlefield 2: Special Forces Review
Special Forces tries to bring more of a "covert ops" feel to the Battlefield line of games with the introduction of night vision and obviously maps set in the dark, flash bangs, tear gas and best of all grappling hooks and zip lines. Gone are the jet aircraft and back from Desert Combat are the HIND and Apache attack choppers with 10 new vehicles and more new guns than an Afghan bazaar.

Nice review, just thought i would add what I think is another negative point. Not enough new weapons (as in more than one) for MEC/Rebel/Russians its a bit of a joke really!

Am i the only one in thinking this is a poor game, imo a waste of 20 quid when there is so much life left in BF2. ill give it a month then you lot will be bored

I won't get bored, every time I try and play BF2 publics I get TK'd for vehicles or there's no teamwork.. and I always go right back to SF where that doesn't happen. The majority of times on an SF server the commander is doing his job properly and teams work together all the time. It's a far more fun experience and the grappling hook and zipline just rock

I aggree with felon that in 1-2 months well be back to BF2 but hopfully SF aswell... but shane you've only played it for 1h 37m 16s so you shouldnt be so quick to judge it may grow on you, i do disagrees with midnight about commanders on SF, but as for team work... i play 90% of the time with you guys and only 20% on BF so theres alot more on SF, partly because there are no planes and few choppers to hord or wait till they spawn.

I am a fan of SF , its a tighter game than BF2 but I must be honest & say that the REB's have been stiffed in SF & if it where not for my BF2 unlocks I would be handicaped playing for the aformentioned teams . I like both games though I can see SF becoming a real clan favorite. I would liek to add that if we did play this game in an official way we should be able to play it with unlocks
