Brothers in Arms
Brothers in Arms does add a really cool squad dynamic and some much needed realism, this would be great but for the fact that it's built on top of an average first person shooter with a few quite serious issues. It's generally a throw away experience, perfect for the console market perhaps, but I expect more from a PC first person shooter, Far Cry and Half-life 2 are leagues ahead and both significantly longer.

Just about all i thought about it but havent got the skill to write! another big miss for me was you couldnt lie prone..when most soldiers spent most of there time on there bellies in the war.

I played most of this game but then took a while to get round to finishing it which I did last week. I have to say it was a nice having squad control as its the only aspect of this game that makes it worth playing. The only thing Id disagree with on the review is the iron sight, for the rifles in particular I found the iron sight really terrible. The guns are too inaccurate when you dont iron sight so you HAVE to iron sight but then you get too much swaying about, especially when you are getting shot at. I sware I almost felt sea sick if I spent too long trying to rifle. Its not so much of a problem on the smg, I guess partly as the iron sight doesnt fill the screen.

The sway and movement is what I liked, it's really quite realistic.

Sometimes realism spoils a game.
