Call of Duty 3 Review
Call of Duty 3 takes place during the allied breakout from Normandy in World War II (of course), running you through the 88 days that lead to the liberation of Paris. Along the way you get to take part in assaults by five nations (although you only get to play as four as you assist the French), the British, Americans, Canadians, French and Polish. Call of Duty games have never been the heavy on story, other than being involved in one of the biggest stories of the century of course, however this time we do get cut scenes that make a good enough job of guiding you through the events that take place. A little niggle here is that they cannot be skipped, which I found annoying now and again.

I've been very close to getting this for some time now, and I'm torn between the 360 version and the Wii. Having just played a Wii fps (Red Steel) I think I may give this a whirl on my MS brick. Nice review

I have wonderd what it would be like on the Wii, I think I'm right in thinking the crosshair stays centre unlike Red Steel (which i didnt like the sound of aiming wise). I came to the conclusion that you really would miss out graphically choosing the Wii version and decided to opt for the 360. I wasn't dissapointed, hope that helps

Doh, just typed out a reply but forgot to hit submit. From the review I read of the wii version of cod3, the controlls on the wii work very well indeed far more so than red steel. Apprently really helps to bring you into the game that much more.

I have it on the wii.. while it's not very pretty to look at compared to the 360 version I just love the controls. I hated red-steel but I love COD3 on the wii. They use the controller in so many more inventive ways from melee combat to opening doors and boxes, reloading by having to "grab" the gun off your back etc.

Also throwing grenades and stuff feels much easier. The crosshair moves around the screen itself and turning is done with either the joystick or by giving the wii-mote a sharp flick to the left or right to 180 and shoot people behind you I love it

had this on the 360, really didnt like it, wouldve been 10 times better had it been a pc game. im sure the wii version is prob alot more fun id avoid it on the 360 tho, probably the worst game ive bought for it (and i had just cause!)
