Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition Review
Now I've obviously played all of the series bar this special edition on the PS2, and when I found out you could play through the original story with Vergil (Dante's twin brother), I knew I had to have it and simply could not wait until the end of September for the PS2 version. Vergil is perhaps one of coolest characters in the game, but you couldn't actually play as him in Dante's Awakening. With this in mind, I picked up a copy of the PC version to both enjoy the extended edition, and to see how good a port it was.

Probably one of the best games on the PS2. I loved the first 2.

Great series, shame it's just another low-quality port. I have a PS2 controller converter, but after reading this review I think i might pick it up for the PS2 instead. A lower resolution on the PS2 is worth avoiding the bugs you mentioned with the PC edition, thanks.

I am a good fan of the devil may cry series and even though I don't own a PS2 I didn't find this as fun as the PS2 version due to the fact it is a direct port and with the amount of issues still with the game. Nonetheless, good review

I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to buy that controller for this game. The game was designed for 2 analog sticks. That WILL NOT WORK.

"After a day of searching Google, I finally found a modified driver for the 360 controller which allowed me to swap the sticks around - happy days."

Can someone please tell me where to find this driver. I shall be eternally grateful. Thanks.
