Half-Life 2 Review
It would be remiss not to mention the facial animation system in Half Life 2, in short, it's incredible. Coupled with the excellent voice acting and a generally quite witty and amusing script, it gives you a genuine feeling that the games characters are much more than a bunch of polygons. Half Life 2 truly stands out in this area, perhaps more than others, unless your a heartless bastard, you will truly care what happens to some of them by games' end.

I still haven't finished the game yet. I mean, it's not Doom 3 boring, but there's not much compelling me to play the rest. I must just be an idiot.

I think the argument is not about 'how good is it' or 'how much do you like it', but more'how does it compare to everything else?'

Simply put, compare to everything else, its outstanding. On its own, you can and will always pick faults in it

Well i didnt really play the first, so i have no desire to play the second. I can quite easily let the entire fad pass me by. I still like the CoD SP

Finally got around to finishing it last night, like KendoMonkey I wasnt exactly excited about playing it. Had to force myself to bother finishing it.

Best part of the game for me was when you took control of the big crane.
