Saints Row Review
Weapons range from the traditional knives, crowbars and a multitude of pistols, up to rocket launchers and grenades. The shotgun has a nice big bang to it and sends people flying down stairs and into walls in a very pleasing manner. The explosions are satisfying to watch, with a well placed RPG sending cars flying into the air flipping over with all the doors bursting open.

Decent review of what looks to be a fun game, I feel I should point out that this game is region free, meaning that you can import it from japan etc. Playasia have this game for about 21 pound, which to be honest is a bargain.

The car handling is terrible, so un-realistic, push the handbrake button and you do a perfect slide everytime, no chance of spinning out like a real car would.

No where near as good as the GTA's.

I dont think this game is made to be realistic in any way shape or form abs
Also having played the last gta game that i thought was utter rubbish and hated nearly every min, I cant say that it is far better than the little of saints row I have played.

Well each to their own but personally i think the GTA's are brilliant, so do alot of other people

I just really don't like the way the cars handle, un-realistic or not.

I liked vice city ALOT abs, nothing can beat going on a murderous rampage with billy jean playing in the background. However I hated the guts of san andreas and just seemed a poor game by contrast. This from the demo seems alot of fun and apprently the full game doesnt suffer from the fps issues the demo has.

Vice City was awesome, just this gang culture style of game doesnt appeal to me, nice review grant you irc stranger.

I've played the demo of this and the full game round a mates and didn't notice any slow down on either which was probably lucky for me, lol

GTA:Vice City was really good but San Andreas was even better.

Are there any particular point in which this signifcantly differs from GTA, for better or for worse, asside from a higher incidence of colourful colloquialisms?

Abs even driving around in the demo was full of slowdown m8, its more likely that you dont know what slowdown looks or feels like. Most people assume its when the game actually stutters or stops. Its not, you can just tell by the way it looks and feels in your hands that it is running at a lower fps. I cant see how you like saints row, just bored me so badly

So what is the best game that lets you be as bad as you want to be, and how it that different from Saints on a Row?
