dirt + grit + water = maz slide n crash! :(
yup crashed my bike :/

was returning home on friday...

i entered a natnial zone and accellerted to 55mph

over took a red pugot and pulled back in "checked mirror" looked a head and saw the car about 200mters ahead was turibg off

i started brakin and to my horror descoverd that my forks poped back up as the bike began to slide in a straight line!

i tried brakinb two more times using every trick in the book, rapid on off etc gears but the forks kept popping up and the bike kept sliding on its wheels!!!

at this point i knew i was gonna hit thr car which was about 10meters away

i decideed to jump rather than brake my legs on the bars so just as i hit i lept cleared the car b y about 20meters and landed right arm out and knee down to roll (like i was taught in judo)

i managed to stabd up remove my gloves helmet and jacket and proceeded to hop about clutching my wrist in agony

called ambulance and the parramedics were suprised to see i had no broken legs or pelvice :0

trip to hospital was bumpy and i sucked about 3/4 the tank of nos

had about 12 xrays

then went into theater at 7pm
came back round three times during the op but cant remebmber owt from that

then i came up at about 9pm and i was eating by 21:05 and hat the iv taken out by 21:15

got released yesterday morning an im now in cast till febuary

Glad your OK, but now you know how dangerous bikes can be.

i think the main lesson is "never trust kirklees roads!!! there slippy as hell!"

but yea i know how bad bikes can be now "not like im gonna stop riding (when im better ima go for my full licence )"

and my car test is gonna be march now :/

Maz u naughty thang, dicing with death. Good decision to jump off the bike tho, i've heard a few people say thats the best thing to do before u collide. Get well soon matey.

nah the bikes gonna be fixed and il be riding again when the plates are removed "may 05"

yeah jumping saved my legs and pelvis according to the doc
